1/2 pound pasta, such as spaghetti, linguine, or penne

1/4 cup olive oil

1 large onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, diced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Salt and black pepper to taste

8 ounces (0.3 kg) tomato sauce (homemade or store-bought)

8 ounces (0.3 kg) of mozzarella cheese, shredded (about 2 cups (ca. 473 cm³))
