The basic story in a unique framework

The critics loved the film, and I still wonder, but it is not a bad film. All the lounges and the games rooms are very nice. Kate Beckinsale plays the main character of the book, Lady Susan. She has a good command of Austen’s wit, but not very good. I think there should have been more derogations. I thought the heroine of the story was Lady Suzanne’s daughter, but we only see her with her mother.
The light and colors were good
If her story had continued, we could have followed the plot development, but instead, it was almost ignored and the ending, which was her own, was very abrupt and unsatisfying.
