As a user of the Cash App, you may want to delete your account. If you want to delete your Cash App account, here are a few things you need to know:
1) You can only delete your Cash App account if you have less than $5 in your balance or if you have opted out of receiving marketing communications from Square. When you delete your Cash App account, all of the money that’s currently in the app will be removed and deposited into the user’s bank account.
2) Deleting your Cash App account does not affect any of the money that was already in it once you deleted it.
3) Deleting an account does not affect any current payments that have been made with it or any previous payments made for goods or services purchased through the Cash App.
4) Select “Settings” in the menu at the top of the screen and then scroll down to “Delete Account.” You will be given an option to delete your account immediately or choose a date in the future that suits you best. This can be done by clicking on “Delete cash app account” next to each date until you find one that works for you. When choosing a date, make sure that it is at least 30 days from today (the current date).
