The NTA will be conducting the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test on July 17. It’s an annual medical entrance exam which will be available to applicants seeking admission in 607 medical, 313 dental, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc courses. The NEET 2022 will be conducted across 543 cities in India and 14 cities abroad in 13 languages. Students will be able to access their exam centre details once the NTA released the admit cards (expected towards the end of June)
Key Updates
- The National Testing Agency will soon issue the admit card for NEET UG 2022. The admit cards won’t be sent by the agency and to get one, you’ll have to download it online.
- The NEET UG 2022 has seen a record number of applicants this year (1.8 million), marking a jump of 2.5 lac students from last year
NEET 2022 Exam Pattern
- Total questions: 200 (candidates will need to answer 180)
- Each subject to be divided into 2 sections (Section A & Section B). Section A will contain 25 questions, while Section B will contain 15 questions (candidates will have to answer any 10)
- Every correct question will award 4 marks to the candidate and every wrong answer will deduct 1 mark
NEET UG 2022 Last Month Preparation Tips
- Take as many mock tests as you can. This will help you identify key areas of weaknesses which you can focus on in the last few days
- Invest time daily in your mental and physical health such that you are in best shape during the exam
- Keep your mind active during the time slot you will take the actual exam (try giving mock tests during that time slot)
- Avoid excessive interaction / information overload during the last few weeks of the exam
