I am beyond grateful for the service i received from Melanie Khoury in the search for our new home. The first call we set up with Melanie was simply to educate ourselves in what was entailed to take the first steps of purchasing a new home. Looking back, I can absolutely say that the call with Melanie was the catalyst that put everything into motion. I had no idea of the array of options I had, what a realistic amount for a down payment looked like and what we qualified for. Melanie very patiently answered my 50,000 questions, explained the entire process, accessed our current situation and most importantly was never at any moment pushy! She made it very clear to us from the get-go that she wanted to move at our pace and that she was in it for the long haul with us, however long it took to find our perfect home.

After that life changing call, came the hard work which was beginning and narrowing down our search. Melanie had no issues going with us from one side of Virginia to the opposite end in order to accommodate our request to seeing homes on the weekends since weekdays are difficult for us. Not only did she have every appointment scheduled and ready to go to maximize time, she absolutely astonished me with her in depth inspection of each home. Melanie would open every door, teach us about the different type of HVAC and water systems in each home, get down under cabinets, push railings to ensure they were secure, show us items that could potentially be hazardous etc. To summarize it, Melanie was not afraid to get her hands dirty and astonished us with her extended knowledge in ALL THINGS HOME RELATED (I can’t stress this enough).

I can go on another 14 paragraphs, but to cut it short, Melanie found our perfect home and we are officially settled in. Thank you Melanie and Red Door Metro, for all the guidance, education and support you provided to us throughout this process. You made something that can often be extremely stressful for most, a walk in the park! Thank you for reading each of our documents, intervening on my behalf, coming to every walk through, answering every email and call (even if it was late) and doing everything and beyond necessary to get us into our home. You guys are truly an amazing team and we are lucky to have found Melanie.

I was lucky to have Melanie help me with my first home purchase. She was AMAZING to work with, she was responsive every time I had a question and still is very responsive to my never ending questions. My home-buying journey was a bit different as the sellers of the house I really wanted took a different offer and a month later the house was still pending so Melanie helped out by reaching out to them and they were not able to close with the buyers they chose.
