Perimeter blocks or edge blocks, or foundation stones are typically the first steps in creating any new building.
They are placed along the outside and inside of your project to make sure that it is structurally sound and strong enough to not collapse under the weight of whatever will be placed on top of them.
Perimeter blocks should be installed just before the concrete slabs are poured. With this done, every section should create a straight line from end to end using a solid material that supports the earth as well as acts as a boundary between one room and another.
